Equipment

We will supply all your equipment needed for your trip. Please feel free to bring some of your own equipment and supplement it with ours, below is a checklist of the equipment needed. Please make sure to tell me if you need equipment supplied and sizes if required.

Equipment Supplied:

• A range of salmon fly rods and reels loaded top quality fly lines.
• A range of trout fly rods, reels, lines, flies and casts.
• A range of spinning rods, reels and spinning bates.
• Chest waders boots.
• Wet gear for the following sizes; male small, medium, large and extra large; female small, medium and large.

Rates for equipment rental:

• Rod, reel and line €20
• Waders €15
• Waders & Rod, Reel & line €30

Equipment Checklist:

• 10ft Fly rods for either salmon or trout
• Reels
• Floating and intermediate fly lines
• Wet and dry flies for trout in sizes 8-14 such as Black pennell, Connemara black, Delphi silver and Dabblers
• Salmon singles and doubles in sizes 6 – 14 such as Cascade
• Casts
• Spinning rods
• Spinning bates
• Lures
• Waders
• Wet gear
• A State fishing licence is also mandatory and we can arrange for your trip.

Please note damage to hired tackle will be charged at the estimated cost of repair or replacement. Unused flies, lures & nylon cannot be returned.
